I got one of them degrees too - and it took me 20 years to get out of that business, so my motivation to do something like that would be less than zero - I wrote some s/w for small garages which I intended to sell far and wide, but as soon as I saw the problems with dealing with the computer n00bs, I soon gave it up. The beta site is still running, and he services and MOTs (yearly certificate of road-worthiness) our two cars in return for me letting him use it still.
Like mike_m235, I can't be bothered with the extra legwork to get PT exactly right. My paper figures on my day-sheets record my table entry and exit figures, and as long as they tally, that is fine by me.
