I emailed to get a stage 2 ticket refunded and this is the response I got:

The only time tournament tickets are unusable is if the ticket has expired, or your account is closed for Real Money play. Please note that Real Money play will be blocked to US players as of November 6th, 2006.

You will be pleased to know that your existing tournament tickets can still be used in Real Money Tournaments until the US real money block is in effect; hence, we are unable to refund those tickets at the present moment.

If you have valid tournament tickets in your account at the time of the block on November 6th, please contact us back and these tickets will be forwarded to the relevant department for a refund as cash in your Pokerroom.com account at the earliest possible time.
