Just got this email from Paradise in response to my question in regards to timeline for the switch:

You won't need to do anything to receive these changes other than upgrading your Paradise Poker software and you'll receive on-screen prompts for this when you open Paradise from time to time over the coming weeks. We'll send you more details on the changes before they happen, but we're excited to be making them and hope you'll enjoy an even better poker experience with us this year.

Didn't tell me a whole lot, but I'm hopeful this means it will be at least a little while until the switch is made.
