It's about $4-5/hr FR and $5-6 6max. The hands at WPEX are dealt pretty fast which helps. If you're at a slow table your rate will go down. The rates for 2/4+ are significantly higher. WPEX has a rakeback calculator on their homepage. Use it and subtract a buck or two to be conservative.

I think the players at WPEX are overrated. I played there several months ago, before Neteller and most of the sites left the US. Back then I thought it was too much of a rock garden. I only played a couple of times and left. I think it's gotten easier since. A lot of aggresive players, but of varying skill. There's a lot of bluffing, be aware and capitalize on this. Now and then you run into some genuine donk. The better players are going to be playing higher limits for obvious reasons (rakeback at 10/20 is like $35+/hr). I don't play NL so I can't comment on that. Table selection is key. In the US afternoons I'm also noticing more Europeans. Apparently, WPEX is marketing to select countries.

For playing break even poker, the site is great. 3 tables of 1/2 limit and it's about $15/hr. That's not including the Aces Never Lose promo. That can add another $2/hr or so. For the true bonus whore or someone trying the site first time, I'd play during this promo. If you lose with pocket aces you get paid $25 at $1/2. Just write down the hand number and email them. I typically get paid within a couple hours. For example, I lost an $18 pot when my aces got cracked. I only contributed $9 to the pot. Emailed and WPEX gave me $25. So I actually netted $16. Not bad. (If you follow this, you can see why $25 back for losing is even better than winning your typical $25 pot). Obviously, they're taking a loss on their poker room. Giving 100% rakeback is extreme. But then adding an extra bonus like this is icing on the cake as they say.

UB used to be a very good site for US players bonus wise. They had a great thing going with cash for points, bonus, and rakeback. As of Feb 21, UB (AP owns them) changed their terms. Like AP, they now deduct just about everything from MGR. With bonus and cash for points it's still ok, but now WPEX is clearly the best deal in terms of total bonus for US players.
