I started playing in the past month, and so far here are how my two 'issues' were resolved.
1.) The rake is stupidly high playing heads up at low limits. It's literally well over $100 per hour for two people to sit at a table and play 2/4 or 3/6 heads-up. (example: I played a guy last week, $578 in play at the table. After an hour and 15 minutes, I left with $290. He had $83. Over $200 in rake taken from 2 players in just over an hour.)
So I emailed Absolute, maybe fishing for them to give me a bonus or tourney entry or ANYTHING to make me feel like I wasn't paying them $60 an hour just to sit at their table.
Absolute's solution: We don't offer rake back to our player, but you can always contact your affiliate who you signed up with and ask them.
2.) I have Epassporte, yesterday the VIP bonus (I should be a 2nd level VIP) was 20% up to $200. I deposited $500 back to back, entered the code both times, and only was awarded $100. So I figured a simple polite email would get them to credit the additional $100. (After all, I'm a VIP and it didn't say it couldn't be in multiple deposits, only "up to $200".)
Absolute's response:
"Please be advised that at this moment we can only give you the $100. I
do apologize for the inconvenience.
Thanks for playing at Absolute Poker! If there is anything else we can
help you with, please let us know. We're here for you!"
Wow. Sure feels like I'm getting the Platinum VIP treatment!
Last I remember, absolute was throwing out like 3 bonuses a week, sometimes more. Have they cut down on that or what?
