How much play is needed to maintain elite status?

Without this analyzed and taken into account saying that 9% is too much or too little makes no sense.

When party paid 10% interest per year it was paid monthly. The requirements where 200 points at least earned in that month. They had a cap so the maximun that would generate interest was $10K.

This was smart on them since those days people where much more skeptical of having large amounts of cash at a poker site and withdrawed and deposited more often as the poker variance dictated. Probably saved them more in fees then they spent on interest.
